Ambon Part 4

My classmate Rini, oh yes, another friend from Psychology school 10 years back, came to see me. She collected me at hotel. We both were surprised, we are much bigger than before (I was 48 kgs when I got my bachelor degree and I am 58 now ^_^). Rini told me that she’s getting married on November 19. Congratulation girl…I am happy for you. Rini asked me what I wanted to eat. Sure more seafood. Hey…I am in Ambon, a small island (Moluccas is an archipelago), sure I should enjoy their specific seafood here.

Rini took me to Dedes, the eldest seafood restaurant in Ambon. We had huge fish and prawns again ^_^. Still they serve it with colo-colo, peanut and chilly sauce. Well…for me Amboina has finer seafood in general, but Dedes has tastier colo-colo sauce. Maybe they should combine their restaurants so they can have great food and colo-colo sauce.

Akil, Rini’s fiancé came and joined us. He’s a cheerful guy. They seemed happy and laughed a lot. I wish them all the best.
