Ambon Part 5

I asked Stevie to take me going around Ambon at night. He collected me at hotel. We rode his motorcycle. We went to hilly places first. We went to Martha Tiahahu’s statue place (I’ve forgotten that place’s name). It’s lovely there, we can see the view of Ambon. Behind the statue, there’s an under-construction big house….guess whose house it is….it’s the official residence of the vice governor. Stevie told me that the residence of the governor has better view than that one. Perhaps I should be a governor in the future, so I can have a huge residence with excellent view ^_^

We went down to the downtown. I wanted to taste papeda. Pak Yulian from office suggested me to eat it. Dang, the only papeda restaurant was closed. So I told Stevie that I wanted seafood (again ^_^). He took me to Amboina and I told him that I’ve been there before. We went to another restaurant, but the raw materials were not fresh anymore. Oh well, we went back to Amboina. We had prawn, cuttlefish and huge fish (ikan rajabau). Damned good.

After had that huge dinner, we went to a beach. We sat on a bench at that seashore. We looked at Pacific Ocean and the stars up above. Awesome…chit chat for a while then went back home…oops hotel.
